Maya Beach, Belize Resort

Our private, secluded seafront resort is located in Maya Beach, a charming community located along the southern coast of Belize 7 miles north of Placencia Village. Maya Beach is an eclectic mix of residential homes, small hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores, all set among inviting beaches.

Placencia Village, a 15 minute drive south from Maya Beach, is a quaint, walkable fishing village incorporating numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and souvenir shops along the main road as well as the sidewalk once billed as the smallest main street in the world.

The Singing Sands, tucked within a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, takes pleasure in providing a relaxed, restful environment for our guests. Our resort is an oasis for any traveler including couples seeking a romantic space, groups in search of a base location, birding enthusiasts, water lovers, or anyone needing a place from which to begin their Belizean adventure.

Our guests can choose to enjoy an abundance of shade and sun on our wide, sandy beach where comfortable beach chairs and hammocks await, the spacious deck around our refreshing pool, or out on our pier extending 200’ from the shore where fantastic sunrises and ocean breezes are always available.
